Quantum computing software startup Classiq has extended its Series B funding round by an additional $13 million. This new investment comes from Canadian-Israeli venture capital firm Awz Ventures. Previously it had announced a $36 million Series B round from investors such as HSBC, NTT Finance and Intesa Sanpaolo. The total amount raised to date is $64 million.
The money will be used to growing its R&D team (to increase from 50 to 100 in 2023) along with geographical expansions in Japan and Europe.
